CW & pulsed buck-boost laser diode driver

The LDDP series is an OEM driver module for integration designed to supply high voltage laser diode strings of multiple single emitters in series at up to 20 A of outputcurrent.

Performance Features

  • Fully isolated analog & digital interfaces
  • typ. 200 µs rise/fall time
  • Low current ripple/noise <±0.1% pp
  • Efficiency typ. 97 .. 98 %
  • Designed for fiber laser amplifiers and burn-in systems with multiple single emitter strings
     
  • Designed for multi-single emitter laser diodes. Especially diode models with compliance voltages above typical 24 or 48 VDC power supplies take advantage of the boost topology! Laser diodes with e.g. 28 V compliance voltage can still be supplied by a primary 24 V AC/DC PSU or diode with 60 V can use a 48 VDC primary supply.
  • Typical application, laser plastic welding and fiber laser pumping
  • Suitable for most common single emitter diode stacks and modules
