The DDPC series laser diode drivers offer the laser designer a compact low cost power supply for a variety of medical and industrial applications. In order to take full advantage of this unique product, care must be taken during the design process to ensure long term reliabilty. This data sheet includes answers to many commonly asked questions about the various configurations available and includes critial cooling and electrical Information.
Performance Features
- Pulsable DC/DC CW laser diode driver
- Maximum output current freely configurable from max. 1 A to 50 A, higher output current on request
- Output power up to 225 W, higher power up to 300 W on request
- Rise times from 1 µs
- CW, QCW, and pulsed operation
- Air-cooled
- DC input: 12-48 V (depending on configuration)
- Operation of diode bars, partial bars, stacks, and multi-single-emitter diodes
Operation of laser modules such as JOLD-CPXF, JOLD-FC, DILAS M1F, nLIGHT pearl and element series, Lumics LuOcean, etc.
* The listed data corresponds to the respective maximum values: Any smaller configuration is also freely selectable, e.g., instead of 4 V, 0-50 A, you can also get 4 V, 0-42 A or 5 V, 0-45 A, etc.
