The long-standing managing director Hubert Maier is retiring. Stefan Dehn takes over the management of Schulz-Electronic GmbH.

Consistent further development as the leading provider of professional power supplies up to 512 kW bears fruit: Schulz-Electronic is now the distributor with the biggest product portfolio.

Schulz-Electronic strengthens sales in Eastern Germany and founds the Berlin Branch Office.

To cope with the growth of the company, the headquarters in Baden-Baden are enlarged and a new building added.

Also the Swiss Branch Office in Basel/Reinach is opened – the first international location of Schulz-Electronic.

The founder of the enterprise retires and Manfred Schulz hands over the management of Schulz-Electronic GmbH to Hubert Maier.

The previous rented premises are now too small: The firm moves to its own company building in Baden-Baden Steinbach.

Against the background of rapid growth, and following the strengthening of the team by the appointment of Hubert Maier as Technical Manager, Schulz-Electronic becomes a GmbH and moves to rented premises.

A company foundation story straight from a picture-book: Manfred Schulz takes the step to self-employment and starts doing business from the basement of his home in Bühl-Weitenung. He initially sells products by Dutch manufacturer Delta Elektronika and the US manufacturer Electronic Measurement.
